Inventrek Technology Park features a comprehensive line-up of business development services that will enable high-tech entrepreneurs to succeed. These services are available at little or no additional costs.

Product Development Assistance
Inventrek Support Team provides product development assistance through a “stage-gate” process. Adapted from a product development process detailed in the book “Winning at New Products,” by Robert G. Cooper, this structured process has proven to be a successful model for launching businesses. This approach requires ventures to complete the activities outlined for each stage and, when successful, pass through a “gate” to the next stage.

As opposed to Cooper’s eight-step product development process, Gateways’ stage-gate model employs just three stages: Soft Review, Due Diligence, and Commercial Transaction. Each stage is completed consecutively and a company is considered “launched” when they reach Stage 3, although they continue to interact and receive advice from Inventrek Technology Park staff as they progress through this stage and beyond.

The businesses selected to participate are provided office and light manufacturing space in addition to a wide range of support services in order to assist these businesses through the difficult early years of business start-up.
